Role: Expert Conversationalist (Voice & Video)

About the Project
We're looking for an exceptionally bright, intellectually engaging individual to join a new audio and video recording project for internal AI research and model-training purposes. The recordings consist of rich, wide-ranging conversations across almost every subject imaginable.
This is not a standard conversational role. We're after genuine intellectual firepower — someone who can speak with real depth, clarity, and authority on almost anything, thinks fast, and comes alive when the conversation turns to ideas. The warmth and charisma to make it feel effortless matter too, but the mind comes first.

Aloe Studios London is a start-up recording studio based in Bermondsey, collecting audio and video recordings to train AI models.
About you
You are, first and foremost, exceptionally intelligent — and you love it. Specifically, you are:
- Brilliant, deeply knowledgeable, and widely read across many fields
- Able to explain complex ideas clearly and hold your own in a genuinely stimulating debate
- Intellectually curious and passionate, with eclectic interests and plenty to say
- Quick-thinking and comfortable improvising at pace
- Credible as a genuine authority — someone people turn to for insight and guidance
- Warm, engaging, witty, and a strong listener, so it never feels like a lecture
We especially welcome applicants with strong academic, research, teaching, or specialist professional backgrounds — or anyone with deep expertise and a real love of ideas. Broad life experience is valued just as highly.
Essential Requirements
- Genuinely exceptional general knowledge and the ability to converse with depth across a wide range of subjects
- Native-level fluency in British or American English
- Strong improvisational and conversational skills
- Available ASAP to complete a minimum of 6 hours of recording
How your recordings are used
The recordings will be used solely for internal research and model-training purposes. Your voice and likeness will be used to train an internal AI model and will not be released publicly or used for commercial advertising or external-facing products.
